Social Work

Supporting wellbeing with clarity, advocacy, and care

Social Work Services

At With Intention Therapy, social work is more than just coordination, it’s a compassionate, trauma-informed partnership built on the belief that every person deserves safety, dignity, and choice.

Led by Louise Pearson, a seasoned social worker with over 16 years of experience, our social work services are designed to meet people where they are, especially those navigating complex systems, recovering from adversity, or facing significant life transitions. Louise brings a holistic lens to her practice, recognising that healing and stability often require support across emotional, social, and practical domains.

What is Social Work?

Social work is a profession rooted in empathy, advocacy, and social justice. It’s about supporting people through life’s challenges, whether emotional, practical, or systemic, and helping them build the lives they want to live.

Social workers take a holistic view of wellbeing, considering the full context of a person’s life. They provide counselling, coordinate care, advocate for access to services, and help individuals navigate complex systems with dignity and support.

At With Intention Therapy, social work is practiced with heart and purpose, always guided by the values of authenticity, respect, and empowerment.
