With Intention Therapy – Louise Pearson
At With Intention Therapy, we believe in walking alongside people with purpose, compassion, and clarity. Founded by Louise Pearson, a dedicated social worker of over 16yrs and case manager with over nine years of experience working with icare, our practice is built on a foundation of person-centred care, holistic support, and meaningful connection.
Louise brings a wealth of expertise in rehabilitation coordination, trauma-informed counselling, and social work across both Lifetime Care and Dust Diseases Care (DDC). Her work is grounded in empathy and advocacy, supporting individuals and families through complex health journeys, catastrophic injuries, and occupational illnesses with dignity and respect.
Whether you’re seeking guidance through the icare system, support in achieving personal goals, or counselling as part of the NSW Victims Support Scheme, Louise offers a safe, inclusive space where your needs are heard and your wellbeing is prioritised. Her approach is collaborative, empowering, and always tailored to the unique circumstances of each person she works with.
At With Intention Therapy, we’re here to help you move forward, with intention.
Case Management that puts you first
As a case manager, Louise’s focus is on supporting you to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. She works alongside you to understand your goals, coordinate the right mix of services, and ensure your rehabilitation journey is smooth, supported, and tailored to your needs. Whether it’s navigating complex care systems or connecting with trusted providers, Louise is here to help you stay on track, feel empowered, and achieve what matters most to you.
Through the NSW Lifetime Care and Support Scheme, eligible individuals who have been severely injured in a motor accident in NSW are entitled to treatment, rehabilitation and care. Louise will work with you and together, we’ll build a plan that reflects your needs, your strengths, and your vision for the future.
Social Work with Purpose and Passion
As an approved icare social worker, Louise provides person-centred support to individuals recovering from serious injuries, helping them navigate complex systems and access the services they need to rebuild their lives. Her role is grounded in empathy, advocacy, and practical problem-solving, ensuring each person feels heard, supported, and empowered.
As a social worker with Dust Diseases Care, Louise’s role is to walk you through what can be a challenging time, offering emotional support, practical guidance, and help navigating care systems and entitlements. With a deep understanding of the impacts of occupational illness, She will work to ensure your voice is heard, your needs are met, and you feel supported every step of the way.
Counselling
As a counsellor, Louise’s focus is on creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you’re working through trauma, grief, anxiety, or life transitions, Louise walks alongside you to explore what matters most, your wellbeing, your goals, and your pace. Together, we’ll co-design a therapeutic approach that’s grounded in evidence-based techniques and shaped by your lived experience. You don’t need a referral or diagnosis to begin, just a willingness to take that first step. Through intentional, trauma-informed care, we’ll build emotional regulation, resilience, and a sense of safety that supports your healing journey.
At With Intention Therapy, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, the Dharug, Tharawal, and Gundungurra Peoples.
We honour their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community, and pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present. We recognise that these lands have always been places of healing, storytelling, and belonging.
As we walk alongside individuals on their therapeutic journeys, we do so with deep respect for the wisdom, strength, and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We are committed to fostering culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful spaces for all.
